We believe that most people can benefit from a cognitive assessment. About half of all decline is caused by modifiable risk factors, so the sooner you get started on your path to brain health, the better.

If you have traditional/Original Medicare (i.e., not Medicare Advantage), the cost of your assessment is likely to be covered. You might have a copay depending on your supplemental plan. We are in the process of expanding our insurance coverage, but if you have other insurance you can always pay for an assessment out of pocket. Contact us for more information.

The initial Thema Assessment takes about an hour. If warranted, we might suggest that you get additional testing (e.g., bloodwork or imaging) that would occur outside the office.

Depending on the amount of additional testing needed, your results and Thema Report will normally be ready in a week or two. At that point, we will be in touch with you to schedule a follow-up appointment.
